WHAT IS THE BIG CAMP FOR YCS?
The Big Camp for YCS is a new program being created by the YCS Foundation and a group of volunteers who recognize the amazing work that YCS does.  We believe that all children deserve to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and fun environment.  Our goal for this hike is to raise $1,000,000 to create a camp that YCS can use year-round to provide recreational, educational and social opportunities for the children in their care. 

To date, approximately $500,000 has been raised towards our stated goal. We are actively looking for camp property presently. In this process, we have located a target camp site in south central New Jersey and are seriously considering an offer to purchase. Years of dedicated volunteer work by hundreds of friends of YCS are beginning to make this dream a reality for these children.

The possibility of nature’s healing power will provide year-round excitement and discovery in the lives of these children.  Through various fundraising efforts, we are committed to the purchase, creation, and construction of the camp, as well as funding it to run on an ongoing basis.
